Historical Replacement Windows

ENGINEERED AUTHENTICITY

When the original wood windows and doors in your historic restoration or preservation project are beyond repair, Dynamic Architectural Windows & Doors has the manufacturing flexibility to replicate the design down to the last detail. Authenticity is combined with 21st century engineered performance in a wide range of tested and rated window and door designs.

As North America’s largest manufacturer of custom wood windows and doors we have the capacity and flexibility to accommodate large-scale complex projects such as hotels, universities and landmark buildings as well as small, exclusive residential remodels. From in-swing true French casements to radius-in-plan triple hung weight and chain windows with authentic one-piece sills, Restoration glass and custom replica bead profiles, Dynamic works directly with the architect to ensure an exact translation of their vision.

Enhanced performance & flexibility.   With complete dimensional flexibility of components, architects have the freedom to recreate the original window while incorporating enhanced performance characteristics. Glazing options include true divided lites with single glazing or sealed units with the narrowest TDL muntins in the industry. Exterior trims can be supplied with longer back leg extensions to allow for on-site scribing to accommodate those out-of-square rough openings so often encountered in older structure

As an approved supplier of historical windows and doors to some of the strictest governing authorities across the US and Canada, architects can be confident of our depth of experience and ability to meet the demands of this exacting niche.
